Kermis @ Madarao

Raicho Lodge Madarao is excited and honored to be the official home of Kermis during the 2018-2019 winter season.

Kermis is a dining concept by Chef Nobu, who has been touring Japan with his pop-up restaurant dining concepts. An expert chef, having honed his talents in the kitchen of Joël Robuchon in Tokyo, Nobu san brings impressive creativity and extraordinary attention to detail in composing the menu of local produce for Kermis. He showcases both Japanese and European cooking techniques in harmonious balance to beautifully enhance the local Japanese ingredients for your dining pleasure.

By the fireplace

Relax by our large and cozy fireplace in our lounging area, and enjoy a warm cuppa or a tipple from our fine selection. Our menu offers you a wide range of international and Japanese wines, 'Nihonshu' (Japanese sake), Japanese craft beers, gin and whiskey to choose from. Nobu san will also serve delectable accompanying small plates in the lounge area.

Japanese produce

Nobu san seeks out local farms and their produce from our home in Nagano, Niigata and our neighbouring prefectures. We select only the highest quality fresh ingredients for the enjoyment of our guests.

From 6PM - 10PM dinner service with last orders at 8:00PM.
